I've chosen these components for the best balance of performance, value, and future upgrade potential.

The Core Components
Processor (CPU)
Intel Core i5-14400 (14th Gen)
This CPU is the brain of my operation. With 10 cores, 16 threads, and a boost clock of up to 4.7GHz, it handles everything from compiling code to streaming and gaming with ease.
Motherboard
ASUS Prime B760M-A WiFi DDR5
A solid foundation for any modern build. It features WiFi 6 for fast wireless connectivity, PCIe Gen4 for a super-fast SSD, and support for the latest DDR5 RAM.
RAM (Memory)
Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR5 5200MHz
Fast memory is essential for multitasking. I'm using a 16GB dual-channel kit of Corsair's DDR5 RAM, which supports XMP for easy overclocking to get the full advertised speed.
Storage (SSD)
Western Digital WD Black SN850X NVMe 1TB
This is one of the fastest SSDs on the market. It's a PCIe Gen4 drive with incredible read speeds of up to 7,300 MB/s and write speeds of up to 6,300 MB/s. Apps, games, and the OS load almost instantly.
Graphics Card (GPU)
ASUS Dual NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 6GB OC Edition
This GPU is a workhorse. It's excellent for 1080p ultra gaming, provides a smooth experience for streaming, and accelerates video editing and other productivity tasks. It's also easy to upgrade in the future if needed.

Power Supply (PSU)
Corsair CX650 650W 80 Plus Bronze
A reliable power supply is non-negotiable. This 650W unit from Corsair provides clean, efficient power with plenty of headroom for all the components.
Cabinet (Case)

This case supports multiple motherboard sizes (ATX, M-ATX, ITX) and comes with ARGB fans for good airflow and aesthetics.
Monitor
Gigabyte G24F 2 - 23.8" Gaming Monitor
A fantastic monitor for both gaming and productivity. It's a Full HD (1080p) IPS panel with a super-smooth 165Hz refresh rate (overclockable to 180Hz) and a 1ms response time. It also supports FreeSync Premium for tear-free gaming.
Setup Tips & Notes
- For the best performance, always use identical RAM kits (same model and speed) to ensure dual-channel mode works correctly.
- Remember to enable the XMP profile for your RAM in the motherboard's BIOS to achieve the full advertised speed.
- In the NVIDIA Control Panel, make sure to enable G-Sync Compatible mode to take advantage of the monitor's FreeSync Premium feature.
